Compostability & Certifications

These liners are certified to both AS 4736 for commercial and industrial composting and AS 5810 for home composting, so they break down completely in either setting. Manufactured from Ecopond - a synthetic biodegradable bioplastic combined with plant-starch - they leave no harmful residues behind. They are accepted wherever municipal organic or FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) waste collection exists, meeting council requirements for compliant food and garden waste disposal. Tie-handles make these convenient for lining caddies and bins; note that under VIC, NSW, QLD and WA rules they cannot be used as single-use carry bags, but they are fully acceptable as bin liners. Store below 35C and out of direct sunlight; shelf life is 6 months from purchase.
