Using Thermal Receipt Paper

Thermal receipt paper has a heat-sensitive coating on one face. For this roll the coated side is wound inward, so it unrolls with the coating facing the print head in many printers. If the first print comes out blank, flip the roll and load it the other way. Store rolls in a cool place away from sunlight and avoid contact with plastic wrap or sticky tape, which can mark the coating.
